Joseph Lawson from Norway

Hi. My g-g grandfather was Joseph Lawson (b. 1862 in Norway). He immigrated to the United States in 1885 where he resided in Norwalk, CT. He died on December 5, 1930 in East Norwalk, CT. Does anyone know how I can find out where in Norway he came from? According to the census both of his parents were also from Norway. Something I found interesting about my research into the census records regarding a Joseph Lawson from Norway was that there was another Joseph Lawson from Norway also living in Norwalk around the same time. The other Joseph Lawson gave a birth date of 1858 and immigrated just 5 years prior in 1880 to the U.S. This Joseph Lawson said that his father was Scottish and his mother was Norwegian. However, I am primarily interested in finding out information about the Joseph Lawson (b. 1862, d. 1930) from Norway, whose both parents were from Norway and whom died in Norwalk, CT.
