Jumping ship in Saguenay, Quebec, Canada

Hi, I'm looking for any info relating to my g-g-grandfather, Henry Robertsen (or Hendrik Roberthsen ??). He was a seaman and he jumped off his ship in Quebec in around 1890 with two of his friends. We have a picture of him in his seaman uniform, so we assume he was a seaman. Apparently the ship was quarantined for a desease. It was transporting wood from Quebec to Norway. I looked through the 1875 census records and found an Hendrik Roberthsen living in Hadsel, Nordland, born in 1869. It could be him but we'd like to have info on this ship and it's crew to confirm. Some people say it was the "Kurst ??".. or something like that... Thanks, Carl Savard Montréal, Canada [email hidden]
