Kari Lien & Anna Lyshgan

Looking for information on father of Anna. She is Kari’s daughter. They left Norway together and came to America and settling in North Dakota. Old family story says Kari and another girl were given jobs in Norway as children making “mush” for 3 nights someone would sneak in and eat it. One the 3rd night when checking to see if the mush was there Gjest Baardsen was there. Word got out he was there and the kings soldiers were sent to wait for him. During this time Kari got pregnant by one of the kings soldiers and Anna was born. Any information would help.
