Karl Andersen born in Tistedalen, Norway

Looking for any information on my grandfather. He was born in Tistedalen (near Halden) Norway. Think his father was Karl Ludvig Johannsen or (Karl Andersen Sr.). His mother was Karoline. His father left the family when Karl was young on a fishing boat and never returned. The mother raised him till she died in 1920. Can someone confirm this? Also he has a cousin who went to Minnesota but don't know her name. I know Grandpa was born in 1892.
