Krisitian Ormbostad

My greatgrandparent immigrated from Norway and I can't find him in any register in Amerika. His birthname was Kristian Jensen, but i have reasons to think that he changed his last name to Ormbostad. His day of birth is 1870 and death could bee 1914. One of his brothers name is Hans Jensen (birth 1872), and since they were so close in age, maby they went together. If someone could help it would bee nice. Sincere Frode.
