Lange

I have done some research on the surname Lange and have determined that it is either Norwegian, Danish, or German and I was wondering if anyone could help me find out if Joseph Henry Lange of West Virginia is of Norwegian descent. I can't find information on his parents but I know he lived in the early to late 1800's. Thanks for everyone's help in advance. [:)]
