Looking for Lawrence Rude Immigrat 1872

Lawrence was born in 1847 in Norway. His parents may have been Gilbert and Osa. The census says he immigrated to the U.S. in 1872. He married Corinthia Reynolds in 1876. He died May 22, 1939 in Baltimore, Maryland. I have been unsuccessful in finding him on any passenger list. I also have not been able to locate any documents showing how his name was spelled in Norway. I would greatly appreciate any leads anyone could give me. -Lynn Chapdelaine
