Looking for Sundbye

Halfden Trygve Sundbye was born in Norway in 1878 and (according to the Pasadena Morning Sun in 1926) "was born in Norway to seafaring people he and rose in the profession to become a officer of ocean ships." In 1900 he was in Honolulu Hawaii, and 1/1/1901 was in Pasadena California. He became a naturalized American citizen in 1907 in Los Angeles, California. He settled in Pasadena where he married Alberdena Sophia Meyers and had a son John George Sundbye who became a dentist there. I am completely at a block for his family! I have been able to reach back 6 generations for everyone else in the family but him! Any help would be appreciated! Sheila
