...in Verdal in North Trøndelag (north of the city Trondheim). Her parents were the teacher Gustav Olsen and his wife Marie, born Eggen before she was married to the guy. The couple's daughter Magdalene Otilie was baptized December 28 in Stiklestad in 1879. Her confirmation took place September 29, 1895. Magdalena Otilie Olsen was her given name in the Church-book, and she was the first of all the girls. And her parents are name-given as the same ones in 1879. Emigrants via Trondheim 18767 - 1930 has listed the above-mentioned girl as leaving/travelling from Norway May 10, 1907. La Crosse, Wisc. was her destination. And her name was given as Magdalene Ot. Ols. Lyng - and Lyng was earlier part of her mother's name. She was again told that she was born in 1879, and she was unmarried. Is it possible to find more information about her? Anne B.
