Mellor Taylor & Co. teutonic dishes

Over 23 years ago my husband bought a complete set of dishes at an estate auction of the Beaver family in Pennsylvania. They have the trade mark stamp as Teutonic Semi porcelain picture of the teutonic Mellor Taylor & Co. England on the back of the dishes. But we can not find that type of trademark on any other Mellor Taylor & Co. The dishes are over 100 years old but in good condition. We were wondering if anybody knows anything about this trademark or dishes. We they a special order for someone associated with the Teutonic or were they just everyday dishes.[?]
