Milwaukee Port of Entry

My great grandparents landed in Quebec on May 28, 1867 on the ship Laudal. And they entered the USA via Milwaukee. I'm wondering how long a trip it was traveling through the Great Lakes from Quebec to Milwaukee by sail ship -- two days, maybe? And I wonder if Milwaukee has any information on immigrants entering the port during the late 1860s? I would think the US would have some record of immigrants entrying the country.
