olden OLSEN

Hello everyone I am trying to verify some information from a Nz death certificate for an Olden OLSEN. who died in NZ in 1936 aged 75 years. His fathers name is given as Ola OLSEN. His mother Fredraka OLSEN( maiden name LARSEN). Place of birth Ork (?) Nedalen (kedalen?) Norway. His date of birth could be 1861 if the death information is correst or 1870 according to the details given on his Nz Naturalisation records. I have tried the Norwegian Digital Archives without success as I didn't know the correct County to search ! I would appreciate any help on locating this person. Is it possible that his name is an anglicised version of a Norwegian name eg Auden ? Thanks Padow
