Opfostres af Fattigkasen - Fosterchild / poorcash

Does anyone know if records were kept for fosterchildren in Norway? I'm assuming there must have been some records kept since fosterparents were given a monetary supplement for providing for these children. My g-grandfather: Peter (Peder) Oluf Andreassen For(s)sland b. 1853-54 (possibly i Alstadhaug), is shown to be a fosterchild in the 1865 census for Grong municipality. I'm hoping background information about him was recorded somewhere. He was taken in by Erik Johansen (Gartlandsaasen) b. 1821 i Grong, og Engeranna Lorntsdatter b. 1838 i Sparboe. katelynne in astoria
