Pontus Mork - date/cause of death

I've found out a lot about my Norwegian relatives who came to New Zealand (thanks to kiwi vikings forum page) but can't find a link to death records in Norway. My GGG grandfather Pontus Mork was born in Sweden in 1831, married and lived in Norway and died either April 8 1869 OR March 28 1872 - there are two dates on the LDS records. He was in Oslo at the time of death I think. His wife Sofie Christofferson had remarried and emigrated with their four children in August 1873. Is there a way to confirm the date of death (and possibly cause) via records in Norway? Deb
