Portable scanners?

Hi All, I'm thinking about getting a portable scanner so I can copy photos from my older relatives, without them having to part with their photos. This seems to be a major issue with some of them, so I have to find another way to obtain them. Also, I'd use it for copying other papers that they may have. Does anyone have a portable scanner and if so, do you like it? It would also get used for business cards, travel receipts, etc..., but I would really like it for my genealogy research. Takk for hjelpen! Hils Wanda
