re ; eric ericksen

I am a descendent of eric ericksen who emmigrated to New Zealand. I found his name on the ship Argonaut on one passenger list but it is not on the passenger list submitted by this site. This was for the year 1866. His identification number was 423. Can I presume this information is incorrect. On the first list I sighted his name was above Ole Ericksens' name and his age was 25. There was another Eric listed also, however his name was spelt Erick Ericksen.
