I have ancestors that all they say on the census and Naturalization papers is they are from Hallingdal.
The map I have shows 6 parts to Hallingdal.
I am wondering how to or if I can find a more definite location for their origin.
I don't have much luck searching the census or church records. Hallingdal is not a name in the archives.
