I found information that he left Trondheim 20. april -82 with s/s "Tasso" to Hull. From Glaskow with s/s "Cicassian" and arrived New York 9. may -82 (10.may?) My father`s uncle`s name in Norway was Lars Jensen Værkland He was born in Lade, Strinda 17.oktober 1864, and was baptised 6.november -64.
