Searching for Hendrick Thomasson b 1763 Norway

I have been able to track a Jon Hendrickson to Hjerpliden in Sweden and his father is Hendrick Thomasson b 1763 in Norway. There is one record from the Dalby kyrkoarkiv, Värmland, Sweden (1821-1825) that lists Lehmoinen as a family name. Would anybody have any research advice on how I might be able to start searching for his family in Norway without any other information? Hendrick had a son named Per b 1795 married to Karin Bertilsdotter b 1800 that left Hjerpliden and moved back to Norway. Maybe a family connection could be made from that information?
