Searching for Henning Kristensen/Gundersen

I am searching for Henning Kristensen/Gundersen ! I dont know if he use his fathers first name or last name in his surname, father is Gunder Kristensen. Henning departed from Norway round about 1900 and was for a while in South Africa, then to Oceania as we have heard !? We heard he might be married in S.A. and probably have a daughter there. I would appreciate if someone knew something about this man and could give me information. Thanks, Thorbjorn
