Seattle ca 1923 -1940

I have been looking for my grandfather in USA for a long time. New tips came here the other day. In Seattle some norwegian were sitting in a cafe/pub and a stranger entered. When he heard they were talking norwegian, he came over. It turned out they were from the same place in Norway. He became very interested and had lots of questions about his own wife, his farm and so on. His wife and 4 children was back home. He would not tell his own name. We assume he maybe has left his family? His name Ole Mathias Olsen. Born Spangereid Norway. 17.10.1978. Father : Ole Martin Olsen B: 12.04.1847 D: 02.03.1889 Mother: Berte Serine Ariansen B: 1847 I know he came to Ellis Island in 1923. Anyone in the Seattle area??
