He is registered in the Danish Emigration Archives 4/6/1870, on board the ship "Denmark". Did this ship sail directly to America, or was it a feeding-boat? Is it possible to find the port of arrival in U.S./Canada? Would it be a list of the arriving passengers in the "other end"?
