Skari surname

I am researching my GGrandfather. His name was Andrew Skari dob@ 1867 Norway. He immigrated in 1889 and settled in the Minnesota area. I have researched several parish records with no luck. There is only a handful of Skari's in the Us which makes it difficult to research. Am trying to figure out this linage into Norway and ties in the US. I know some realitives were located in ND. Any help is so appreciated!!! Thank You!!
