søren olson

i'm trying to find info on my gr, gr, grandfather. he was born in Stavenger(i think) on Nov 11, 1835. He married Sophia Danielson(of Stavenger), born June 17, 1841. I can't find any Sorens on the passenger lists that match his age. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Tks
