after all your help i have found the correct soren, he came over on the Norden in 1836. i am now trying to find the farm he came. there are 3 different spellings: Hetletvedt, Hetleveit, and Hetleved. It has to be in Nedstrand, Rogaland. his parents were ole knudsen and britha sorensdr. i would like to visit next summer. thanks for your help. robert olson
