Would like to know where to look for the Stavanger recreated emigration records. My gg grandfather, Sigve Erland of the Erland farm in Skjold, left somewhere around 1859-61 and is suppose to be listed in those records from an article in the Aftenposten. His father was Sigved Torgeirsson. Sigve moved to Benton Co. Iowa after he fought in the Civil War. I would appreciate an information you could give me. Thanks, Brian Erland [email hidden]
