Swedish Emigrants

I was told after searching thru various sites that Sweden did not register emigrants until after 1869 and that many Swedes left for USA from Norway. I am researching Johan Peter Hellman so is listed as emigrating 10/17/1868. His wife and daughter emigrated in Oct, 1871. Looking for ship name and date and location of arrival. Any help appreciated.
