The Halvorsen family from Attraa farm, Tinn, Telem

First of all there must of been an earlier kirke at Attraa (& variations of spellings) as they are in the Kirke records well before 1800's and this family immigrated in 1836 for USA. Anyone have a photo of earlest Kirke? I have been searching for this Halvor Knudsen and Birthe Torgersdtr Saaler family for five days now. And have found another couple that is mixed in with this family--namely the one that had a child, Kari born in 1804. This family appears to be Halvor Jonsen Saaler and Birgith Torgersdatter. Are they the same family? This Kari age 34 is listed as a daughter to my Halvorson's who immigrated in 1836 for first Rutland County, IL. Then settled in Adams Twp, LaSalle County, IL. Where does this Kari/ Carin belong? Families on Ancestry.com are all over the page in listing the real info. Thanks for any help with this! Lorene[:(]
