Very interesting information. I am curious if anyone is able to locate further Haugedal info. I am tracing Thomas Julick Haughedal, born 27 Jan 1823 in Norway. Death notice indicates parents Julick and Alice Houghedal, and spouse Ester Johnson. Died in Otsego Twp, Columbia County, Wisconsin, on 18 Sep 1906.
Searches on Google and Ancestry.com have revealed nothing about family in Norway or immigration info. Any assistance would be most appreciated!
