torkel samuelsen & kari halvorsdatter

torkel was born about 1789 in sogn og fjordane, lived at berge in 1820. kari was also born about 1789 in sogn og fjordane, lived at tønjum in 1820. they were engaged on 20 nov 1819 and married 23 jan 1820 in lærdal. the ministerialbok for marriages in 1820 is missing, so i am unable to find the record, and my searches turn up nothing. any suggestions on where else to look for birth dates-records for the above 2? thank you!
