Tracing the Hansen family in Ibestad

Can anyone help a hapless dodo to find his family tree from Ibestad, Troms. My great grandfather was Magnus Bertin Hansen born in 1874 mentioned on the 1875 census, his father was called Hans O. Mikkelsen but no more is known. How do I go back further in time??
