Trying to find ancestors/relatives in Norway...

My grandfather was Kristian Johannessen born in Bergen around the early 1900's. He may have lived in Haugesund and was believed to be a part of the Norwegian Navy. His wife and my grandmother, Gerda Linea Vikburg was born on 4/4/10 in Fauske, Norway. She died around 1992 and I never did get a chance to meet her. My father never knew his father and stated he only saw him once in a train station in Norway when he was 12 years old. If Kristian were still alive he would be one old man! Probably around 100... This is all the information I have and am afraid I will never get answers to my genealogic past as well as any current relatives that I may have over there.
