two weddings and a baby?

Hello,
I am new to this--so sorry if the questions are very basic. I'm living in Sweden at present and hoping to pop over to Norway to see where my family came from yet this summer (as I understand it is under snow for a large part of the year) [:)]
I am hunting down the origins of my paternal lineage. I have found in the birth record of the brother to my great-grandfather--this brother was the only one in that family born in Norway (the rest in Clay Banks, Wisconsin). This brother Andrew "Anders" was born 21 August 1978, baptized 10 November in vestre Slidre
record #52. I think this record indicates that the parents were married. I am very unsure, but I think the father's occupation was husmann (some abbreviation for this perhaps?). Any other ideas for this one? The parents' ages do not agree with other information I have.
This is where things become more unclear for me. Starting in 1978, I started looking for the marriage record of the parents, who I think should be Engebret Andersen and Marit Engebretsdatter. I find possibly two records for Marit wedding in 1978 5! for April 1978 to Ingebret Knudsen--so before the birth of Anders, and a second in November 1978 #9--to Engebret Andersen--I think one day before the baptism--so after the birth of Anders--even though Anders' birth record says he was born in wedlock (I think).
In terms of the bride, these two marriage records seem very consistent to me--but perhaps I'm missing something? There was another Marit Engebretsdatter in the same family, but she should have been 27--whereas these marriage records both have the bride at 24 years.
Ok, so in summary--these are my questions:
1. Ideas for occupation and residence of the father in Anders' birth record? Perhaps someone with more experience can read these better?
2. Was it possible to marry by proxy or something that would have two weddings for the same people recorded? What is the word above the groom's name in the 5! record and why the !?
3. Are there differences between the marriage records I'm failing to recognize--so the bride is not the same person in both?
4. What hints do you see for tracing back the Engebret Andersen's lineage? According to these records, I think his father should be Anders Thorsen--I can work with that, but where does it say Engebret is from? Stinde something?
Again, apologies for the very basic questions and my thanks for any who take the time to help out!
