Where is Gomibe??

My grandmother's birth certificate says her father was born in Gomibe, Norway. It could be a misspelling. Could it be Somibe? Sornibe? Gornibe?? It's hard to read the script. My grandmother was born in Chicago. His name was Hans Meyer on the certificate, but his naturalization papers say Hans Myhre. Any help in locating this area of Norway would be appreciated. I am at a loss in finding him. Thanks, Cheryl
