Woolhampton / Adonis

The British Barque "Woolhampton" was sold to a Norwegian company about 1883 and renamed "Adonis" and just a few years after she was beached at Tybee near the Savannah River in the USA state of Georgia. Does anyone know of the circumstance of her loss. Kind regards John P Laws Registrar of the Laws family Register
