I see that this Sivert is marked *. If this patronymic is not given in the original passenger list could this then be Sivert Atlaksen (or Aslagsen as they then tended to write it)?<BR>He would then be the brother of Reinert and Sigbjørn Atlaksen/Aslagsen who left some weeks earlier that same year on the bark Emigrant. He is certainly with his two brothers in Wisconsin in the fall of 1853. See Fra Amerika til Norge I, 85.

An afterthought: The entry may have been Sivert A Aavedal, one of the ways the brothers signed themselves. e.g. Fra Amerika til Norge I, 113.
