August Olson, son of Ole Pederson and Oline Nilsdatter. Born in Asker, Askerhus, Norway in 1850. Settled in Chicago Illinois, USA with wife Gustava Andersdatter. They had one son, Alfred Oscar Olson born in Chicago in 1872 and died in 1931. They had one grandchild by Alfred: Lillian Florence Olson, my grandmother.
