Ingeborg, Anton Olai and Olav Haraldsen emigrated to New York. Ingeborg in 1924 and Anton Olai and Olav in 1923. Is there anyone that can tell me what happend to them after they arrived?

You severely limit the ability of anyone to help search American records by not including at least approximate dates of births for these persons.
In 1923 and 1924 you'd expect that they probably arrived through Ellis Island (New York) and you can search those passenger arrival records online. The detailed scanned manifest for likely matches and records of that period should list some good information on exactly WHERE they intended to go. The following website will allow you to search those records -- you have to register to view the final details -- but registration is entirely free.

I have fond them on Ellis Island.
Ingeborg is born 28.8.1904 in odda, Norway and arrived 19.nov. 1924 to New York
Anton Olai is born 27.8. 1905 in Odda, Norway and arrived 15. oct. 1923 to New York
Olav is born 7.5.1907 in Odda, Norway and arrived 15.oct. 1923 to New York.
They were all going to their father Anton Haraldsen, B.143 III Pioner str. Brooklyn NY.
Anton Haraldsen arrived New York 20.sept. 1917. he is born 1879 in Bergen, Norway.
I know that Anton Haraldsen went back to Norway, but I dont know what happened to his children in USA.

Olav Haraldsen when he emigrated to New York in 1924 his name was spelled Olaf Haroldsen and he never corrected it. i am his son and can tell you of the other members of the family.

Olav Haraldsen is my farther when he emigrated to NY his name was recorded as Olaf Haroldsen I can tell you about Ingeborg and Anton.

| Michael - I'm not the original poster who had questions about the Haroldsen family but I'd like to know WHERE in the US they did settle. I also have ancestors from the Odda, Hordaland area and I'm just curious. |

Olaf Haroldsen was married to my dad's cousin Mary (Waldron) .
As I child I visited Mamie and Olaf at their home on 15 st Park Slope Brooklyn. Mamie Waldron Haroldsen's parents were Mary (Flynn) Waldron and Michael Waldron. My Grandmother was Delia Flynn sister of Mary Flynn. Love to connect with all descendants of any of the above. my cell is 617.6997163 |
