Hi,

Does anyone know where I could find a photo of this ship, or is there one that is very similar?

SS Marsden Wilson Line

My ancestors took this ship from Norway around 1887.

Thanks

Michelle

See http://www.myspace.com/542534795/photos/1396347 for an aerial photo of the smaller S.S. Meigle attempting to tug S.S. Marsden (sometimes referred to as S/S Marsdin) off the rocks in The Narrows of St. Johns, Newfoundland. Renamed Livorno in 1889. In 1907 the Livorno was stranded at Walsörarne (Walsorarne, Walsoerarne, etc.) an island of Finland - scrapped. See http://www.geographic.org/geographic_names/name.php?uni=-1999936&fid=1774&c=finland for exact location.
