Carpathia Cunard Line steamship built 1902 at Wallsend-on-Tyne, England by C. S. Swan & Hunter. In 1912 the Carpathia rescued 705 survivors from the Titanic. In 1918 she was torpedoed and sunk by German sub. U-55 off Fastnet, 5 lives lost.
