Ninety souls, (a portion of the destitute poor), from the Norwegian ship Ifferde November (Fjerde November), which arrived on the 16th August, were, at the instigation of the Honorable Solicitor General for the Province of Quebec, sent on at the expense of the ship-owner to the Eastern Townships. A few of these people also left for the Western States, but most of them settled in the Townships, and appear to be satisfied with their prospects. Agents: Blichfeldt, Knoph & Co, Christiania and M. Petersen in Hamar.
