Imes here. Descendant of Thomas (Tollef) Guttormsan Imes (Ims) and Helga Olene (Oline) Thompson, my great great great grandparents that immigrated to the USA. Tollef was born May 18th 1858 in Bersagel, Hole, Rogaland. Tollef had my great great grandfather, Garfield Imes on Feb 25th 1891 in Redwood City, CA. Garfield relocated to Fox Island, WA and had my grandfather, Garfield Edward Imes, who served in WWII, on Aug 7th 1923. My father, Edward Lee Imes was born Oct 30th 1946 and lived his entire life in WA before passing in 2017. I was born June 5th, 1973 in Walla Walla, WA. Love reading about all the history!!
