I have a Borre Justesen Siem born in 1859 that left Norway from Sunnmore on April 23, 1882 for Barnesville MN. He left on a ship called Anker on 4 May 1882. I have not found him on a passenger list arriving in New York. Can you direct me to any passenger lists to check?

Anchor was the name of the Shipping company or line, not the name of the ship. Bolivia was a ship of the Anchor line.

Here is a Borre J Siem aged 23 born Norway arriving in New York on a ship named Bolivia.

Someone named David Robert has already linked it to a Borre Johnson 1859-1914 family tree.,,,,

There are a number of Norwegians on this list so if you want to confirm several other names on the Anker list that might be possible....
