Great grandmother reported to leave Copenhagen 4 May 1870 aboard "Tolbull" of Thingvalla line. Your site says Thingvalla line not organized until 1879. She spent 21 days crossing ocean. I'm not sure but believe arrived in port of New York. Her future husband was a mate aboard the ship. Upon arrival in America he tried to break his agreement with the captain. For reasons I won't mention here, he returned to Denmark and later became a captain of the ship "Sorrey". He is supposed to have quit the company in 1872 and returned to America where they were married.
I want to find the ships list for the Tolbull since she is supposed to have come to America with part of her family.

This must have been another company. The Thingvalla Line never owned a ship by the name "Tolbull". Maybe Søren Thorsøe can help us, I will send him a note.
