Hi,

I have a farm map of Oppland fylke showing several of the farms of my ancestors: Strande, Smedshammer, Grimsrud, Kios, etc. However, I cannot find GISLEBERG farm. Can somebody please tell me where to look? Also, the farms called LYNNE and SOUG...if someone would please help me locate them, too. Thanks so very much for your help.

Sincerely,
Jan

Maybe the farm does not exist today, here you will find maps from 1854. http://www.slektshistorielaget.no/

Hi,
In 1900 there were 3 farms named Gisleberg in Gran parish in Oppland.
It seemes they were subfarms under Gran Prestegård-Vicarage not fare from Gran church.

Gisleberg was named after the river Gisla first mentioned 1316

Jørn Lindstad from DIS-Norge is listed on the farm, perhaps he know if the farm still exist.
