| I am looking for information on Erik Jonnsson 1813-1897 . My great great grand father. He married Kristianne Steffensdotter Bjordale 1824-1875. Kristianne came from a farm called Vollset which is close to Helset. Their daughter was Synnove Eriksdatter Jonsson. Synnove was born May 3 1856 and died April 3 1920. I am looking for any information on any of these people. Thanks |

This looks like the family in the 1865 census. Some spelling variations in their names, but the dates look good.

The Synneve from the 1865 census was born May 7 1856, see #15
Father and mother are Erik Johnsen and Christiane Steffensdatter on the Voldsæter farm.
Christiane Steffensdatter was born Sept 22 1822, see #31
her parents were Stephen Endresen and Karen Olsdatter on the Bjordahl farm.

Christiane's father is Stephen Ednesen Bjørdal(help please on the last name)

Caris (i.e. Kari) birth record is between #31 and #32 here
she was born Oct 2 and baptized Oct 17 1847.
Erik Johnsen and Christiane Stephensdatter married July 7 1844, see #10
Erik was 30 years old and his father was Jon Eriksen.

Her parents are Stephen Endresen and looks like [u]Kanen[/u] Olsd (Einar corrected it to Karen.)

Les, looks like we do double work - Christianes father was Endresen - her mother was Karen.
Erick Jonsens birth record Sept 1814 (date not readable) is the last one in left column on left hand page #24
parents Jon Ericksen and Ingebor Olsdatter Voldsætter.
Jon Erichsen in 1801
his parents Erich Jonsen and Christie Jørgensdatter.
Steffen Endresen, Bjordahl and Karie Olsdatter, Frøsøen were married June 23 1816, see top of right hand page here
Kari Olesdatter in 1801
her parents Ole Olesen and Pernille Knudsdatter.
Stephan Endresen and his parents Endre Larssen and Brithe Stephansdatter in 1801
