Hi
My great-grandfather Peder Peterson Ystad was born on the YSTAD farm near Trondheim. In fact, my cousin and I visited the YSTAD farm in May. We have two cousins in Stenjker whose great-grandmother stayed in Norway. Peder went to Hammerfest, married and then emigrated to USA.

I can provide more specific information if you need it.

Mary Ystad Curran
