No, it's not the one in Nesseby. The lake where the Karhula family lived is located in Sør-Varanger, on the boarder to Russia. Near Svanvik, south of Kirkenes.
They must have lived in this area (red circle):

Thank you everyone for helping me. On ancestry .com I found a Jaako Karhula with an estimated birth year of 1884 and a Johan Karhula with an estimated birth year of 1860. Both of these men came to the Houghton or Keweenaw County which is where I live and where Kaisa lived. I am wondering if they could possibly be brothers of Kaisa's. I am so glad I found this website and that you can help me. So a question I have; was Kaisa of Finnish nationality, Norwegian, or Russian nationality? I am thinking Finnish, but this is a little confusing to me. Is a KVEN a person who was Finnish and lived in Norway? Thank you for everything I greatly appreciate it. Julie Pirkola Harris

Einar, thank you for finding more siblings of Kaisa's. I am still trying to figure out how to use some of these web sites. Julie Pirkola Harris

Hi.
If you want to keep or post a church record.
Josefine #25 can be used as an example.
