Looking for Jon(John)Berg born in Norway16 July 1849 father Anton Berg
Mother Anna stakke. Where would I look to find a farm name for Berg
or Stakke. Don't know when he migrated to Usa but he was married to
Thaletta Bilstad.She was born 1854 in Norway . One site says their
is a john Berg arriving Baldimore but can not find anything on arrivals in Baldimore. Vivian Trimpl

Hi Vivian

The name Berg is quite common in Norway, in the 1865 census there are 516 farms listed by the name "Berg", so....do you have any other leads?
