My grandfather come to N.Y. september 1922, his name Sverre Try Jacobsen born 1887 in Norway. Do you know more about him?

Sverre left Kristiania/Oslo on the S/S Oscar II, September 1st and arrival in New York, September 11, 1922 His records and image of the original records can be found at the Ellis Island web site http://www.ellisislandrecords.org/default.asp
Relatives in Norway was E. Vellesværd and his wife Anna Lindland in Lillesand. Sverre who was a carpenter was going to his friend August Olsen, Clinton Str. 414, Brooklyn.

I know ,thats my granfather. But , did he have a new familiy ,I want to know more. His vife was Birgit Jacobsen d. her in Norway 1938. He had 3 girls, 2 is still living.
